Responsibilities To provide a high standard of customer service in the serving of food and drink. To set up the bar counter and the food service area in the appropriate manner as per Company procedures. To meet and greet customers, take food and drink orders and liaise with all relevant personnel in ensuring the delivery of these orders to the customer. To anticipate the needs of the customer and to ensure that the customer always receives excellent customer service. To ensure that the food service and bar service areas meets the Company standard regarding cleanliness, health and safety. To calculate the bills correctly and accept and verify various methods of payment. To refill bar stock levels and ensure efficient bar stock including stock rotation. To carry out end of shift duties according to Company procedures To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance is always maintained. Any other duties relevant and related to the post. Educational qualifications Educated to secondary level standard. Skills and Experience A minimum of 6 months previous bar service experience is essential. A minimum of 6 months previous foodservice experience is desirable. Senior Manager of Programmes A well-established organisation based in Belfast, are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Programmes to join their team. This is a Full-time, Temporary Position initially for 6 months (to start immediately). Working hours: 37 hours per week. With a salary of £55,207 - £59,049 per annum (dependent on experience). Job Purpose: You will be responsible for key aspects of the management, implementation, and delivery of the cross-border Programmes managed by the business. This will involve the development and implementation of operational plans to ensure that programme and financial targets are achieved within the respective accountability frameworks. Essential Criteria: An Honours degree or equivalent third level qualification plus a minimum of 5 years' experience at senior management level OR a minimum of 7 years' experience at senior management level. Proven experience of strategic programme management in a complex and/or regulatory work environment, demonstrating the ability to evaluate detailed information from a range of sources in order to make key decisions, manage risks and influence others. Experience of providing strong team leadership through developing and coaching to produce high performance. Proven experience of contributing to the development of strategy to successfully deliver the aims and objectives of an organisation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels as well with the ability of negotiation. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure funding decisions are taken in robust and transparent manner; service delivery standards are met; and the administrative burden is reduced for applicants and grant recipients. Management and delivery of cross-border Programmes. Implement effective administrative and financial control procedures related to programme delivery. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders. Liaise on a regular basis with senior officials, along with members of other external governmental, commercial, public, voluntary and community sector bodies. Contribute to the corporate management of the business, including staff management. Continue to develop the key aspects of the programme within guidelines and as outlined in the respective Programme documents. Develop and manage the systems for ensuring that all key programme targets are met, with respect to agreed outputs and financial targets. Oversight of programme activity, developing the Management Information Framework around this. Ensure all service delivery standards in relation to programme management are in place and contribute pro-actively to further service improvement. Management of the impact, outcomes, and evaluation of the Programme. Oversee the review of Management and Control Systems currently in place to ensure they remain fit for purpose across current programmes ensuring guidance is updated as appropriate. Review, develop and adapt the Management and Control Systems to ensure they meet the requirement of effectively managing, implementing, and delivering the Programme including the provision of guidance. Liaise with the other Teams to ensure timely and effective project management processes are in place to support the delivery of projects. Research and report information in relation to the implementation of the programmes and provide briefing material.
