Up to £33,000 DOE benefits, Mon-Fri 0700-1600, offering an immediate interview and start date. The individual is responsible for managing and coordinating the production floor, managing around 15-20 FTE. Duties Responsible for overseeing production processes within the organisation. Creating daily weekly and monthly production schedules. Coordinating production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resource and maintaining high quality standards Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all production lines. Managing a team of production staff, implementing process improvements and contributing to the overall success of the business Ensuring the team members follow procedures and comply with quality requirements. Organizing workflow to meet the production schedule as per specific deadlines. Monitor, evaluate and document performance Creating production performance report. Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management Ensure the production target level is achieved daily Taking part in the daily production briefings To liaise with other personnel and departments to ensure the smooth running of the whole of operations on site. Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimising costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are always maintained. Develop production plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Other Duties might include: Providing tech packs to the production team before commencement of the job Open and close facilities as required. Coordinating the approval process of samples and following through the process Organise Monthly stock take of heat transfer. Provision of work for all production processes. Stock control of consumables Monitoring progress of the production and making any changes required within production processes to meet the deadlines. Ensuring the quality of the finished product is to the highest quality. Leadership Working with the Production Manager and Operations Director to keep the business always moving forward and running at full speed. Contributing to Production succession planning into performance development plans to support future growth Directing staff development, welfare and rewards including annual objectives, appraisals, training needs and mentoring Drive a culture of continuous improvement Monitoring productivity rates, standards, and quality control Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of staff. Manage, coach, and develop a high performing Production team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
