Commercial Accountant - £40000 - £50000 per annum - Greater Belfast Your new company Our client has seen a significant increase in demand for their products over the last few years and therefore is seeking a Commercial Accountant to join their established team. This is a design and manufacturing business that continues to innovate to deliver the best products to its loyal client base. Your new role Working within an established commercial finance team, you will be responsible for providing accurate information that the Senior Management will use to make strategic decisions and to drive business performance. You will be enthusiastic about process improvement and have excellent communication skills. You will prepare weekly and monthly management reporting, including trend evaluation, revenue and profitability analysis, cost investigation and relevant commentary. You will create annual sales budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts, to support the Commercial Director's review performance at various levels. You will evaluate the viability of new products by working with various business departments to make recommendations based on collective findings. You will deliver product pricing; working alongside sales and marketing departments to manage annual price reviews and provide relevant market analysis. Providing insight into business costs, including materials, wage costs and manufacturing output What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced accountant who can demonstrate your ability to provide financial business partnering services to Senior Management. You will have excellent data analytics. The organisation provides all aspects of advice across various commercial property assets including offices, retail and industrial and are now looking to grow their team further. The requirement is for an experienced Client Accountant who can add value to the successful team. THE ROLE: Preparing client reports for a new portfolio of commercial properties. Preparing year-end service charge accounts including reconciliations and demands. Setting up new properties onto the property management system. Raising rent demands and billing tenants and chasing arrears. Reconciling client bank accounts on a monthly basis. Assisting with quarterly VAT returns. Liaising with property managers to discuss accounts and any potential issues. THE PERSON REQUIREMENTS: 5 years Property experience as a Property Accountant. Sound knowledge of preparing service charge accounts. Property Management systems experience with Yardi or QUBE BENEFITS: 1 day WFH.
