Liaise with other unit leaders and other functions as necessary and support customer visits as required. Ensure that work is conducted in a safe environment according to safe practices. Own and ensure effective closure of CAPA. Carry out annual appraisals for team members supporting and identifying training needs. Person Specification Essential A-C GCSE Level or equivalent in English, Maths & Physics. Degree or NVQ in Engineering - Equivalent or above. Experience of resolving issues. Manufacturing experience in a low volume environment. Experience using engineering solutions for complex problems. Familiar with using an MRP system. Solid understanding of Engineering principles. Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements relating to manufacturing. Report writing & presentation skills. Strong problem-solving skills. PC literate with intermediate skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Able to facilitate small groups. Good communication skills. Ability to command respect of people at all levels of the organization.
