Recruitment Officer 1-3 month FTC £27K P.A Bristol (Hybrid) Our client, a fantastic charity, has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Officer to join their team! The role: The Recruitment Officer will lead the recruitment campaign to swiftly resource a temporary team for a newly funded project for the Charity for delivery over 10 months. Support managers with recruitment and selection activity including the new starter onboarding process. Ensure adherence to relevant employment, statutory and data protection legislation. Act as the People Team lead in the creation and closure of the project recruitment campaign. Post vacancies, assisting managers and candidates during the process, ensuring all stages are completed by the appropriate manager. Oversee the applicant tracking system (Blue Octopus) for this project and be the first point of call for system queries. Ensure the recruitment process is appropriately followed including authorisations, and any necessary processes before job advertisements are placed. Lead with new starter onboarding and setting up electronic employee records and filing of documents, ensuring all records are kept current and managed in accordance with GDPR and Data Protection Policies. Monitor the storage, sharing and destruction of candidate data in accordance with the GDPR and Data Protection Policies. Administer referencing requests, DBS checks, production of offer letters, contracts of employment and induction materials. Schedule and arrange inductions for this project as required. Key skills/ experience: Extensive recruitment experience with supporting and advising managers including using applicant tracking systems Extensive experience of writing and placing adverts Experience in supporting managers shortlisting including ideally completing longlisting stages Extensive experience supporting managers during recruitment, selection and interview and selection process including designing and hosting assessment days Administration experience in an HR team Working knowledge of the Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
