Your new role You will manage a broad portfolio, managing a client portfolio, comprising a wide range of business sectors, as an Accounts / Tax and General Business Services Manager in the firm's Bristol offices. This will be done with a focus on accounts/tax and overall service supply for a wide range of clients. You'll manage and oversee the delivery of accounting, taxes, and other services, as well as providing business advice, while also managing employees, workload, and budgets, and collaborating with partners on a variety of advisory project work. My client a leading firm of Accountants based in Bristol is urgently looking for an Audit Assistant Manager. You will be working with listed clients and international groups and will assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for manager or partner review, seeking input for areas of concern and judgement. The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA Qualified or overseas equivalent, educated up to degree level, have experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site. You must have working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements. You must also have an understanding of issues regarding advice, regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering, along with demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
