Role - Facilities Coordinator / Helpdesk Coordinator Location- Stockport Salary- £26,000 Your role as a Facilities Coordinator: You will report into Head of Facilities Management and work in a team of 3. You will support the Head of FM and Senior FM in managing the helpdesk and administration within the facilities team. This role is based on site in Stockport. Your duties and responsibilities as a Facilities Coordinator: To provide support on the reactive maintenance help desk for clients/contractors. To input job requests/works orders via the Qube/Planet software system and completing all requisite fields. To respond to telephone calls from a dedicated direct maintenance telephone line, ensuring works completed within the required time period. Chasing contractors for updates and completion on all works carried out. To arrange for quotations on any costed works ensuring return within 15 days of receipt to Manager/Supervisor and processing for authorisation. To operate within a team and promote amicable working relationships. To report to the Head of Facilities Management any issues that prevent the fulfilment of tasks. To carry out any other duties as reasonably required from time to time by the Head of Department. Processing contractor invoices. To carry out other duties for the company as reasonably required from time to time. Preparing reports for key clients. Maintain excellent working relationships with other colleagues, clients, and contractors. Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Goods In Coordinator to join our client, a large manufacturing business in Runcorn, Cheshire. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the purpose of the role to receive incoming goods and materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes as well as checking notes and booking the stock onto the stock control system. Duties will include: Coordinate stock transfer orders to 3rd party external warehouses, stock accuracy and reconciliation of warehouse invoices Liaise with Hauliers to ensure delivery is effectively coordinated and monitor systems to ensure orders have been dispatched within agreed timescales. Monitor the loading times for the bulk and pack loading and manage potential problems. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the goods in area, including safe handling and storage of materials. Manage outbound deliveries. Arrange export declarations (if required). Prepare and issue accurate documentation for customer. Raise Hold Notes and Non Conformance's as required Daily and weekly stocktakes. Monitor shelf life of stock and raise concessions as required. Helping to work towards Month End close offs for accounts ensuring all stock is booked and any discrepancies are resolved. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a goods receiving role. Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials. The ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centres would be beneficial. Proficiency in using inventory management software / systems. Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm rotating. Quarterly stock checks will be completed which will require some weekend work on Saturday and Sunday.
