We are currently supporting a large two-form entry primary school in Warrington to recruit an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in this year. The school requires a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to cover Key Stage 1. This is a full-time contract lasting until the end of the academic year with the potential to be extended into the new academic year. The role is term time only, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm Your new role In your role as a Year 1-1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working under the instruction of class teachers to promote an inclusive and accessible learning environment and use your initiative to effectively manage the classroom and behaviours. You will utilise all the learning equipment available and identify when students may be struggling with work and offer intervention and booster sessions in core subjects as required on a 1:1 and group basis. In this role you will lead in the gathering of data and information from a variety of sources adding analytical support to our teams, support on developing visual graphics to help promote our plans and develop new innovative ideas on how we can develop our plans. This intern role will specifically support in creating our county plans pulling together a wealth of information such as; Local risks, maintenance issues, asset performance, growth in the area, environmental considerations, future water quality projections, catchment plans etc. We also require support turning these local county plans into our long-term regulatory plans. This commitment has brought an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Intern to work across United Utilities and with partner organisations to support the scaling up of this approach. The successful candidate will work directly with the Place Based Planning Managers in the Catchment Planning, Conservation and Partnership (CaPCoP) team. The CaPCoP team is newly formed and responsible for providing environmental leadership through developing and embedding robust plans which promote nature-based interventions and protect the natural ecosystems our services rely on. The team work in an integrated and collaborative manner with other teams in United Utilities, as well as with partner organisations to drive our Catchment Systems Thinking (CaST) approach) This is an exciting opportunity to gain more experience and understanding of how United Utilities is building capability to integrate the management of water at a sub-regional level and drive partnership working.
