As the CNC Programmer you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled Lathes.
Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for an CNC Programmer to work with a leading global manufacturer who produce machined components supplying predominantly into the energy industries.

Your Role and Responsibilities as a CNC programmer
The CNC Programmer will be responsible in setting up, operating, and programming 3, 4, and 5 axis machinery.
The CNC Multi Axis Miller Programmer will work within a team to manufacture precision-engineered components to exact specifications under strict timelines and tight tolerances.

Your responsibilities will include: CNC Programming: Develop precise 3 and 5 axis CNC programs using Hypermill software.
As a CNC Offline Programmer, you'll be at the heart of this large successful precision engineering companies production process, translating design concepts into reality.
Be an experienced CNC Miller/Turner/Grinder Programmer/Setter/Operator.

THE CNC MILLER PROGRAMMER WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO: Programme - ideally using HyperMill Operate CNC milling machinery, fixtures and fittings, preferably in a highly compliant environment working to tight tolerances Use manual measuring equipment and competently read manufacturing drawings Operate Mazak 5 Axis milling machinery would be an advantage This role would suit someone who enjoys working with complex precision components out of difficult to manufacture materials.
THE CNC MILLER PROGRAMMER WOULD IDEALLY HAVE EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE IN: Setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines to include 3, 4 and 5 Axis Engineering qualification from City and Guilds / HNC or similar Speeds and feeds for different raw materials; controls; programming; safety and tooling FANUC / Mazatrol control language would be preferable Lean Manufacturing CMM inspection and measuring would be an advantage
The CNC Multi Axis Miller Programmer will work as part of a team to produce quality precision engineered components to detailed specifications within strict production timeframes and tight tolerances.
