Job Role: CNC Miller Location: Manchester Shift: Days Only Salary: £36,000 - £37,000 Per Annum (DOE) Metalis is working in partnership with an independent sub-contractor in Bredbury who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled CNC Miller on a permanent contract. Job Duties: Set-up and operate CNC Milling Machines Edit and prove out CNC Machines Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures. Self-inspection of your own work Preventative and General maintenance checks Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times Job competencies: Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances. Good attention to detail. Strong team player with a can do attitude. Must be self-motivated. Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program. Excellent timekeeping and attendance. Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC Machines. Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar. Fanuc experience is advantageous. Mazatrol, Heidenhain experience (desirable) Experience in setting up and operating CNC milling machines. Strong understanding of machining processes Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
