You will be responsible for the programming, setting and operation of various conventional and CNC Machine tools including manual and semi-CNC lathes, CNC milling machines and inspection equipment.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be working as part of a team of engineers dedicated to producing the best quality high precision products.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
Set & Operate CNC machine to specific programme as per part number and work instruction sheet via utilisation of the DNC link (direct numerical control) on computer.
Work closely with the pre setter to ensure tooling is set up correctly.
TE Connectivity's CNC Machinists prepare detailed numerical control programs for use in production on numerical controlled machinery; they run the EDM, including programming, setup and operation.
