This will be predominately call advice. Receiving a variety of calls from clients with HR issues or queries, which can include absence management, grievances, disciplinaries etc. Providing clients with supporting information/documentation to assist them in implementing the advice/ solutions provided. Using your expert HR and employment law knowledge to develop a clear answer for the client. To review client documentation and provide advice accordingly taking their applicable internal terms and conditions into account in each case. Ensure that all requests for advice are dealt with within the relevant service level agreement (SLA) In order to be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have the following: Good employment law knowledge either through studies or working experience. CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in the work place is desirable. Previous experience of working in a KPI/target driven environment would be highly desirable, ideally in a shared service centre. Job Title - Senior Commercial Client Adviser Contract - Permanent Salary - £45,000 Location - Glasgow Overall As a Senior Client Adviser you will assist the Client Adviser Team Leader and/or Divisional Manager in accordance with Group objectives, procedures and standards. Report to the Client Adviser Team Leader on a monthly basis. To promote and support the Division both internally and externally to clients, the insurance market and other third parties. Client Responsibilities To act as Account Adviser on specific nominated accounts and to support other members of the division on accounts as and when appropriate. To develop new business from existing client contacts, new introductions and own contacts. Shared responsibility for achievement of the business plan and budget of the Division Ensure that enquiries are dealt with appropriately to experience and expertise with designated broking and placing as suitable within the team. Ensure that you operate within the Company's systems and procedures with regard to service standards, quality of documentation, credit control and support of key insurance markets. Ensure accurate preparation of client registers and update as required. Check policy documents for accuracy and breadth of cover Provide assistance to the Claims department with any relevant claims. Range of Advice Gather sufficient information to enable you to obtain Insurance Act compliant terms. Ensure advice given meets clients' requirements in all cases and recommendations and reasons are documented in all cases. Provide a fair analysis of the market with all potentially suitable products considered. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Understand your FCA responsibilities and duties as defined. Comply with all internal systems and procedures. Understand and follow the Company's Procedure Manual. Notify any complaint immediately to the Divisional Director and actively assist in the required handling of the complaint, in line with the Group Complaints Handling Procedure. Qualifications, Experience & Capabilities Committed to advancement of CPD and professional qualifications appropriate to the role and to your personal development. A high standard of integrity coupled with an ability to work in a highly regulated environment. View strong compliance as a benefit and an opportunity. Excellent communication skills coupled with proven experience in managing a team and dealing with a wide range of staff issues and reporting requirements.
