What We're Looking For: Proven experience in commercial combined insurance, with a deep understanding of industry standards and practices. Cert CII qualification preferred, or a strong willingness to pursue certification with support. Proficiency in Acturis or similar insurance software. Exceptional client service skills, with a focus on building lasting relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Chartered Independent Insurance Brokerage based in Bradford. They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their recently established direct client team, and be responsible for the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients. Main duties will include: Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs Handle premiums up to c£20,000 Working with a broad range of clients, including, Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and maintaining good relationships Broking risks for new business and renewals Refer any claims through to the dedicated team Working closely with the Corporate Broking team Using the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms on a daily basis This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop further and be part of a long standing business that is in an exciting stage of growth.
