Part time Legal Secretary Commercial Property department JRRL are currently recruiting for a Part Time Legal Secretary (22.5 hours) for our client, based in their Dartford office, you will be in the Commercial Property department. The successful candidate will provide full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the department, liaising with clients and other staff as appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the department. Duties The role includes but is not limited to the following: Audio and copy typing all correspondence to include letters, emails, bills, financial statements and legal forms (including Land Registry forms, Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns and CPSE Replies) Amending and creating documents with track changes Obtaining searches Using the Land Registry portal to obtain title documentation, priority searches, bankruptcy searches and to submit E-AP1 applications Liaising with clients and other third parties to provide updates and assist with queries Undertake general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing. Opening and closing files. Use the firm's case management system Visual Files. The Candidate Proven experience working as a Legal Secretary preferably within a busy Commercial Property department, however, experience working within a Residential Property department will also be considered. Fast and accurate typing skills. Excellent IT skills and experience of using the Land Registry portal Experience of using a legal case management system The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise. Good communication skills both on the telephone and in person. Attention to detail. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent organisation skills Part time hours are flexible so can be worked as 3 days per week or spread over 5 days (22.5 hours).
