My client is looking for a temporary cleaner to work in their SEN school based in Hayes to help look after the upkeep of their school. Temporary cover for 20th and 21st June. Hours 2pm 6pm £12.00 per hour. On site Parking available. Duties Cleaning certain parts of the school site. Vacuuming certain areas of the school site. Sweeping uncarpeted areas. Emptying and cleaning out bins. Spot Cleaning of Spillages. Cleaning desks, seats and skirting boards. Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries. Cleaning doors and windows. Duties of the Cleaners Provide a high standard of cleanliness. The role is to clean, vacuum, mop and scrub all areas of the site, which includes patient areas, offices, communal corridors, therapy rooms and clinic rooms including toilet areas. Cleaning of toilets, sinks, showers & wash hand basins. Mopping of floors and walls and other high surfaces. Wet scrubbing and suction of hard floors. Dusting of all surfaces. Correct disposal of all clinical and non-clinical waste including recycling. Replenishment of hand soap, toilet rolls, paper hand towels and hand sanitiser. To take responsibility for the care and cleaning of all cleaning equipment and its storage area. Ensure the department environment is kept clean to a predetermined level and in accordance with policies and procedures to achieve enhanced environmental standards. Identify and action additional cleaning requirements. Abide by infection prevention and control policies. To ensure stock rooms are kept tidy and stock is easily accessible. To always maintain patient confidentiality. Experience Required Previous experience as a Cleaner/Housekeeper. To be familiar with relevant Operational, Personnel, Health and Safety Policies and procedures, including Fire, COSHH, No Smoking and Alcohol. To attend mandatory updates as required. A full clean driving license will be required.
