Role Overview: As a Light Civils Worker, you'll play a crucial role in our construction team. Your responsibilities will include: Trial Holes and Scanning for Services: Conducting trial holes to assess ground conditions and identify utility services. Using specialized equipment to scan and detect underground utilities. Trenching and Excavation: Excavating trenches for utilities installation, drainage, or other purposes. Ensuring proper safety protocols during trenching activities. Concrete Work: Assisting with concrete pouring, leveling, and finishing. Knowledge of formwork and reinforcement. Fencing: Installing and repairing fences as needed. Ensuring fences meet quality standards and safety requirements. Tarmac Work: Laying and compacting tarmac for roads, footpaths, or other surfaces. Understanding different tarmac mixes and application techniques. Requirements: CPCS Car and Street Works Tickets: Valid CPCS certification for operating construction plant machinery.
