Prospero Health and Social care are actively looking to recruit Support Workers to support a residential service and school that provides specialist support for up to 40 children with autism aged between 7 and 19.
The service comprises both a residential home and school.
This role will cover both the children's day to day life and activities within the residential service as well as within the classroom to provide continuity to the young people's lives, which is highly important to the students at the school.
Some children / young people will have suffered adverse childhood experiences, and you will identify their risks and needs, escalating where necessary.
You will support students with special educational needs (SEN), and a range of associated social, emotional and mental health challenges and traumas.
