Main Duties
Accompany young people to appointments.
Attend meeting with Centre Managers to understand daily tasks during each shift.
To lead a staff group of Residential Support Workers, while acting as a corporate parent to the unaccompanied asylum-seeking children we care for, to ensure the children are protected and cared for until they move to a more permanent home.
Assist the Registered Manager in discharging their duties under the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Ofsted Regulations including the quality standards.

Connect2Kent have an exciting opportunity for experienced Children's Care Home Managers to assist with the running of a brand new Children's Home located in Ashford, Kent.
We do this through the provision of specialist therapeutic residential care and treatment, together with family and network support.
Employment type: Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week)
Childhood First enables children and young people to recover from early life abuse and relational trauma, to enjoy life and to achieve their potential.
Manage a caseload of disabled children and young people aged 0-25 to assess, plan, monitor and review the support/personal assistance needs of service users, working in a person-centred way.
Work with the service users and their families/carers to develop a package of support/assistance as they prepare to become adults and in their early adult life that promotes and maintains independence and wellbeing; where appropriate involve other agencies and use community resources to provide equality of opportunity, full participation and inclusion in society.
Main duties and responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of children, young people and their families, undertaking assessments to determine the needs and capabilities of clients and carers, and drawing up plans of support under the supervision and guidance of a designated supervisor, using agreed eligibility criteria and in accordance with statutory requirements, Directorate and Corporate Policy and National Legislation.
