Job title: Multi skilled operative (Multiple permanent opportunities) Location: Cardiff and surrounding areas Salary: £14.61 per hour / £30,472.37 per annum. BRC are working with a social housing client in Cardiff who are looking to recruit multiple multi skilled operatives to grow their own in-house trades team. This is an exciting opportunity to join this organisation currently. These roles are for dedicated Multi Skilled Operatives with a multiple trade background to carry out the general repair, maintenance, void, and planned works of our properties. This is a permanent, full-time post, working 40 hours per week. What you'll do: You'll undertake void and planned works, in residential properties across South-East Wales. Such as kitchen and bathroom refurbs and a range of major works. There might also be a need to carry out some works within there care schemes. You'll liaise with our tenants and colleagues directly, to guarantee the smooth running of the appointments and you'll ensure all jobs are fully complete to a high standard. What you'll need: You'll have experience of repairs, maintenance, voids and/or planned works and you'll be able to demonstrate a broad range of trade skills to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks and/or installations to a high standard of craftsmanship. We're interested in people with a range of skills and experience and will consider people who have a relevant qualification within a trade field - for further information please see the job description. We're looking for reliable operatives that have good communication skills and are comfortable interacting with tenants. A valid UK driving licence is essential. You will have access to a company vehicle (manual transmission). You don't need to worry about having tools or uniform - these will be provided for you!
