Our leading global law firm client are looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer (Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto, WANLAN, Cisco Meraki) on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis to be responsible for the management and ongoing maintenance of network systems technologies across the the firm.
The right Senior Network Engineer (Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto, WANLAN, Cisco Meraki) will be involved in the planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimising all local and global wide area network services, associated software and communication links.
As a 2nd Line Network Engineer, your primary responsibility is to provide technical support and assistance to customers or clients who are experiencing more complex technical issues.
Investigating and resolving technical issues escalated from 1st line support and providing end users with a technical solution covering some of the below areas:
Work alongside the 3rd Line resolver teams to investigate and resolve incidents affecting the supported platforms either due to detection by the monitoring toolset or upon notification of a fault through the Service Desk ticket logging process.
As the Senior Network & Security Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the networking technology fabric that underpins the company's IT infrastructure (including on-premises, and cloud environments), its unified communications and Cyber Security.
You will be expected to work with relevant telecoms providers and other suppliers and service providers, acting as lead on the design, maintenance, security, and proactive monitoring of the organisations' network topology.
In addition, you will manage capacity and availability of network services, optimise quality of service, and ensure value for money.
