Key Responsibilities: Strategic leadership and direction for the aviation quality assurance function, aligning goals with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements Quality performance metrics, targets, and KPIs to monitor and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Updated on changes to all relevant aviation regulations, standards, and directives, and ensure timely implementation of required updates to quality assurance processes and procedures. Develop a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance assessments to verify adherence to quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform external audits by regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and customers, ensuring timely preparation, thorough responses, and effective corrective action implementation. What you will need: Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices including Part 145 Safety Management Systems. Extensive experience in quality assurance, quality management, or regulatory compliance leadership roles. In-depth knowledge of UK aviation regulations (CAA/EASA) and international aviation standards. Proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems.
