Contract: Permanent Salary: £46,000 Hours of work: 37 hours per week: Day shifts Responsible for: The role will require leadership of all maintenance trades to support planned and unplanned activities. The use of business systems and documentation to support and Improve asset availability and achieve maintenance KPI targets. Qualifications/ Experience: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Maintenance or similar Apprenticeship trained in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (multi-skilled) or relevant experience Time served apprenticeship Key Tasks / Responsibilities: Organise and control effective maintenance and repairs of all equipment including procurement of spares etc Must complete all work within set timescales dictated by production/customer requirements. Hourly/daily updates Communicate effectively with team, shift leaders, facility maintenance and operations to ensure all issues are resolved correctly and in a timely manner Agree repair plans and cascade through the 3 shift cycle Interrogate business systems to understand and Improve asset availability Issue of PTW and conduct Risk Assessments Ensure company systems are updated Lead key maintenance improvement activities while supporting others Undertake all levels required of HR processes Monitor daily workload and priorities labour effectively day-day and weekly Updating and Monitoring of Key maintenance repair performance Data and act on results . Contract: Permanent Salary: £37,031 Inc Shift Allowance Hours of work: 3 shift pattern rotating: 37 hours per week 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am (early finish on Fridays: 6am-11am,11am-4pm,4pm-9pm) Qualifications: Must have completed a 4 year Toolmaking or related Apprenticeship Must possess a ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering discipline To have gained entry to an Apprenticeship Programme, 5 GCSE's at grade C or above. Must contain Maths, English and Science. Key Requirements: Apprentice trained with an engineering qualification. Strong understanding of and attention to Health and Safety in the workplace. Previously operated machinery and equipment in an engineering based role. Manufacture/Maintenance and repair of Press Tooling, jig and fixtures or similar Knowledge / Experience: Press Tool Dismantling and Assembly, Mechanical problem solving, working to high tolerances Experience in Tandem, Transfer and / or Progression Tooling is desirable Cold Stamping process knowledge from 60-2000ton Toolroom or similar workshop protocol with associated equipment. Key Tasks / Responsibilities: Carry out effective TPM maintenance, modifications repairs of press tools/ancillary equipment. Good use on IT systems and fully use company systems for input and output of information and data capture. Must complete all work within set timescales dictated by production/customer requirements. Very good communication skills and full ability to self manage tasks and pass onto others. Evaluate repairs to determine whether it can be conducted in Press or whether this must be removed to Toolroom for essential maintenance and repair work. Communicate effectively with team, shift leaders, facility maintenance and press operations to ensure all issues are resolved correctly and in a timely manner. Agree a repair plan with the shift supervisor and cascade through the 3 shift cycle with other team members. Must complete all work reports to an accurate and detailed level.
