Job Purpose
Responsible for the leadership and management of a social work team, ensuring that vulnerable children and their families receive responsive services that safeguard and promote their welfare.
To provide operational leadership, vision and direction by delivering service improvement within children's social work.
To be involved in the Care Management process under the overall responsibility of a Senior Social Worker or Assistant Team Manager.
To provide a sensitive, responsive and appropriate response to people who use services and their carers.
To work with vulnerable adults to assess their needs, make appropriate recommendations, and contribute to the development of support plans that enable people to achieve the optimum level of independence.
