It is situated in 13 acres of parkland in Broadstairs, Kent. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviour's that may be challenging using a Gentle Teaching approach and engaging in reflective practice. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management. We have also been awarded the Platinum standard for the Investors in People accreditation We have 7 Residential Children's homes on site, in order to ensure our staff can attain their Level 3 in Residential Childcare we have an inhouse training and development team including nationally recognised assessors. This will be an opportunity to join the friendly and welcoming team and deliver vocational qualifications, coaching and assessment of learners in accordance with the National Standards using a range of assessment methods. NCFE Assessor - About the Role Key Responsibilities: Deliver NCFE Level 3 qualifications within agreed time frames. Deliver School related qualifications as required. Develop and agree realistic plans for learning and assessment with learners taking into consideration their needs as an individual. Support, coach and mentor learners to achieve timely completions in line with Bradstow Professional Development Centre contractual obligations both face-to-face and remotely. Abide by Ofsted, NCFE and Centre regulations at all times To be fully aware of and understand the duties and responsibilities arising from the Children's Act 2004 and Working Together in relation to child protection and safeguarding children and young people. NCFE Assessor - Skills & Experience: No formal qualifications or experience are necessary for this post, but you will be required to commit to achieving the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years of beginning employment at the school. We look for candidates who are mature, warm, creative, and open to learning with a patient and caring attitude. A1 Assessor's qualification or equivalent Experience delivering NCFE qualifications Knowledge of NCFE Awarding body standards Previous experience of assessing learners within a childcare setting at Levels 2 and 3 Practical experience in a childcare setting Flexible approach to working hours as there will be evening and weekend working. About the role This is a temporary role working 38 hours per week with shifts Monday to Friday. You will join the business as a Van driver with a mix of duties, including picking for the delivery team which includes supporting the delivered operation in achieving first class customer service. You will need a full driving license to be considered for this role. Checking quality, shelf life and ensuring packaging is robust in preparation for Delivery. Responsible for providing a high standard of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and to target. Providing first class service to our customers when delivering their goods. Being polite when dealing with delivery staff and responding appropriately to queries and complaints referring any complex situations to someone who can help. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.
