Sutton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker with a caring and calm approach for an exciting and rewarding opportunity within our Adult Services Transition Team.
This role focuses on supporting young people with additional needs and their families as they transition to adulthood.
Working closely with Children's Services, Education, and Health, you will ensure that transitioning young adults receive the right support from the right people.
Option to buy up to 10 days of additional annual leave.
26 days' holiday (prorated for part time staff), rising to 28 days after 2 years' service and 30 days after 5 years' service.
General
The starting salary is £32,512 per annum based on a 36-hour week plus enhanced rates of pay for occasional weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
Barnardo's Kickstart Futures Service; Floating Support for Care Leavers in Sutton.
Barnardo's, in partnership with The London Borough of Sutton, is providing a floating support service for Care Leavers with low to medium levels of support needs.
The service provides floating support to Young People across a range of properties located within the borough of Sutton, as well as a small number of Young People based elsewhere in the community, mainly around The London Borough of Sutton and neighbouring boroughs.
