The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to children in care, as well as working closely with foster carers, residential staff, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.

Nonstop is currently working with a well established local authority in the Slough area who are looking for an experienced social worker to join their Hospital Care Management team.
You will be based out of the local hospital, allowing which will allow for a lot less travelling and a more structured day with less Out of Hours being completed.
Responsibilities
The team is made up of experienced social workers and social care assessors who work alongside doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, mental health services.
To undertake assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
To undertake statutory intervention where service users are deemed to be at risk, including situations where people may be neglected or abused in accordance with the Inter-Agency Policy and Procedures for Safeguarding Adults.
This includes promoting a multi-agency approach by developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Provide social work help and intervention to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in need so that children maintain a reasonable standard of health and development, receive reasonable parenting, and have a sense of permanence through secure attachment to their parents or carers.
Qualified Social Worker - Greenwich - Children in Need Team
Expectation of 3 days work in the office per week and 2 days working from home.
As a Social Worker you will manage a complex caseload and be responsible for social care assessments, risk assessments, facilitate group activities, and will contribute to ICR meetings, supporting service users to make viable plans for their future.
