This position is a temporary Role for 2 months with the possibility to be extended and pays £13.37 (PAYE) or £16.36 (Umbrella) Per hour. The Role: We require a Residential Worker for 37 hours a week. We are a residential short break service for young people with disabilities. This is shift work with the shifts being 7-8 hours long between the hours of 7am and 10pm - this includes weekend working every fortnight. Key Responsibilities: Personal Care. Write case notes. Interact with the young people. Complete house tasks. Food prep. Following care plans. Complete mandatory training. Attend staff meetings. Follow Action for Children Policy. Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: Relevant Professional qualification. Experience: 3 years' experience. Compliance: 3 years references. Fully enhanced DBS on the update service. Social Worker Social Worker would be working for one our community hospitals located in High Wycombe/Amersham. Team (CMHT) providing a high-quality service across all areas of the Community Mental Health Service. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner. To work within your professional scope of practice. To work independently as part of an interdisciplinary team to diagnose, assess, plan and implement patient specific programmes of care/interventions, contributing to the continuous assessment of patients. To undertake more complex assessments, using your profession specific clinical knowledge and skills. To function effectively across a variety of environments (e.g. ward, department, patients' homes etc) involving changing and demanding conditions To use a comprehensive range of verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with patients, and their families/carers, the diagnosis and treatment plan, that may be complex and sensitive, to help progress rehabilitation. This will include patients who may have difficulties with understanding or communication. To evaluate patient progress and alter treatment programmes as and when appropriate. To work within the legal framework with patients who lack capacity for informed consent or are subject to the Mental Health Act.
