Tradewind SEND are recruiting Learning Support Assistants; we are looking for empathetic, passionate, and resilient people to work with a specialist service for children excluded from mainstream learning.
This service needs Learning Support Assistant across all age groups working with a number of students who have complex mental health disorders and challenging behaviour profiles.
The young people you would work closely with will have a variety of needs.
Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will be to support pupils on a 1:1 or group basis with their learning development and care needs while at school.
We are currently looking for Learning Support Assistants who are dedicated and passionate about supporting children in a school-based environment.
Our school caters for children and young adults from 5-18 years old with varied SEND needs, such as Autism, SEMH, Severe learning difficulties and Speech and language communication difficulties.
Provide professional supervision of other Social Workers, supporting caseload management and promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.
Manage social work caseload of more complex nature and with high levels of autonomy.
Provide expert professional and technical advice on Children in Need to other Social Workers, managers, colleagues, and partners.
