IT Support Assistant Duration: 12 - 18 month contract Hours: 35 hours per week - Hybrid working (4 days a week in the office/ 1 working at home) Salary: £25,500.00 PA Interview dates: 13 &14 June Closing date 31 May 2024 We are small housing association based in Croydon with big goals, employing just over 50 members of staff looking after 1600 homes. We have an exciting opportunity to join our IT Team. What you will achieve in the role You will be supporting ccha users encountering application and technical difficulties. This will involve answering staff phone calls, emails or handling in-person requests along with logging and resolving user issues in a ticketing system, prioritising them based on urgency and escalating complex problems to senior team members or third parties as required. You would also contribute to the development and maintenance of the knowledge base and internal documentation of solutions to frequently encountered problems. What you'll bring to ccha The ideal candidate will be someone who has a keen interest in IT support, who is enthusiastic and willing to learn. The role requires problem-solving skills, a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude. Essential skills required: Excellent IT knowledge and skills Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues raised by end users. The ability to communicate effectively, verbally, in writing and in person. Desirable requirements: Experience using systems used in the social housing sector, Civica Cx in particular.
