Car Sales Executive Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 Job Type: Full-time Location: Newbury Working Hours: Monday to Saturday 08:30 - 18:00, with one day off during the week We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a commitment to excellent customer service. This role involves building rapport with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the purchasing process. Day to Day of the Role: Engage with customers to understand their requirements, using effective communication to build rapport and qualify their needs. Present suitable product options to customers, adapting to their buying strategy and facilitating test drives. Appraise part exchange vehicles, checking documentation, and negotiating purchase prices with the Sales Manager. Discuss and review additional product options and accessories with customers. Negotiate sale prices and agree on payment methods, including finance arrangements, while working within company guidelines. Comply with the company's Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) process and the Financial Conduct Authority's guidelines. Participate in training and development opportunities. Coordinate with Sales Administration to ensure product availability aligns with customer expectations, place orders, and schedule additional services. Manage the delivery process, including scheduling, customer notification, and post-delivery follow-up. Plan and organise daily selling activities, such as making calls to prospects for new business. Collaborate with colleagues across the dealership to provide seamless service and ensure all sales opportunities are maximised. Maintain showroom environment and displays to agreed standards. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies regarding the handling of waste and hazardous materials. Required Skills & Qualifications: Ability to plan, organise, and meet deadlines. Quick assimilation of information and ability to provide considered responses. Strong work ethic, adaptable to change, and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Positive response to organisational and market changes. Essential: Fluent in written and spoken English. Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, and web applications. Full, clean driving licence.
