As a Project Manager you will be instrumental in supporting the project team.
This role is ideal for an individual passionate about managing high-profile projects, including work with well-known UK retailers, multi-site rollouts, and retail units in various locations such as airports, shopping centres, high streets, and out-of-town sites.
The ideal Commercial manager will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of commercial operations within our projects.
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to lead and direct the commercial activities associated with our operations in Telecoms and Energy, along with close collaboration with the back office PMO team.
Provide support and input to procurement and bidding processes.
Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working, but this will depend on project requirements and the need for access to specific site facilities.
Typically you can expect to be onsite 2 - 3 days a week but this may flex on certain weeks to be more depending on business and team needs.
Experience needed: Experience of project management within a complex, high-technology manufacturing or engineering company.
We are looking for people who are skilled in key project management principles such as risk management, handling high budgets & managing costs, baseline management and strong stakeholder management skills.
As a leader, you will define the project scope, program, and budget for delivery in AMP8, directly contributing to Thames Water's Capital Delivery program and Turnaround plan.
The successful candidate for this role will have the unique opportunity to enhance the resilience of Thames Water's network of underground assets within water delivery to our customers and communities.
