Overview On behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join the Income team in Aylesbury. Working alongside the Income Team Leader, you will support financial transaction processing activity through timely and accurate processing, and deliver excellent customer experience by providing efficient and effective service through continuous improvement within the team and by working in collaboration with all the stakeholders. Temporary 6 months Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pm Pay Rate - £13.00 per hour Start Date - ASAP Work Schedule Mix of office and home working Location Aylesbury About the role As a Finance Officer, you will have several responsibilities including, but not limited to the following: Allocate income received into the Council. Processing cheques. GL and Balance Sheet reconciliations. Investigating unidentified payments. Liaising with colleagues throughout the organisation and with external customers to resolve queries. Processing Direct Debit Runs. Importing income from various systems. The caseload is all privately funded and will include; divorce, separation, cohabitation, prenuptials, civil partnerships, financial matters and private law children matters. Ideally, you will be a Family Solicitor with over 4 years' PQE and your experience will be; privately funded family work. You will be expected to handle a mixed caseload of family law related matters, including divorce, separation, cohabitation, civil partnership disputes, children issues. Dealing with enquiries, speaking with clients and other parties over the phone, in written correspondence and face to face. Drafting legal documentation to include Cohabitation Agreements and Prenuptial Agreements. Drafting various Court Applications.
