You will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling queries and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is integral to our operations and reports directly to the Office Manager. Day to Day of the Role: Handle customer inquiries with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Use appropriate methods and tools to provide accurate, valid, and complete information. Answer incoming calls and process order inputs efficiently. Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems as necessary. Perform administrative tasks, including electronic filing and processing customer correspondence. Liaise with Logistics staff, Yard staff, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure smooth operations. Understand the company's policies and vision and contribute to the Customer Service team's goals. Manage bespoke lintel orders, including plot banding and scheduling deliveries. Produce accurate quotations from manufacturers' schedules for prompt return to customers. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to work effectively within a small team. Proficiency in administrative tasks and electronic filing. Competence in using computerised systems and tools relevant to customer service. A clear understanding of company policies and customer service objectives. All in-house training will be provided, so a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
