We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bracknell for a part-time Customer Service Associate. This is an office-based role with the potential to transition from a temporary to a permanent position. The hours of work are: Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 15:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Assisting with administrative tasks as needed. Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience. Answering the telephone and handling internal and external communications courteously and efficiently. Taking and placing customer orders and resolving queries effectively. Coordinating outstanding skip and Roll on off orders daily and ensuring all customers comply with the standards set out in the Terms and Conditions. Taking ownership of customer data, ensuring it is accurate and current. Informing customers of all aspects of the sale. Actively selling or promoting all aspects of the business. Bringing any complaints to the attention of the Commercial Sales Manager. Ensuring customers are aware of Hazardous Waste regulations on certain materials. Ensuring activities within operations are carried out with the highest regard to Health and Safety and Wellbeing of all employees, customers, and members of the public in accordance with legal, environmental, and company policies. Performing any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably required. Person Specification: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A high level of accuracy is essential. Good knowledge of MS Software, good computing skills, and use of business applications such as Weighsoft. A good team player and ability to work well under own initiative. Demonstrates understanding and works to exceed customer expectations. Accountable for results and long-term business objectives. Possesses excellent negotiation skills and is effective at managing customer relationships.
