Customer Services Executive My client, a leading organisation in their field are seeking a Customer Services Executive to join their established team. This role is based from my clients' offices in Colchester and due to their location, the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle. This role is offered with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package. As Customer Service Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the all aspects of the Customer Service Department are covered. These include; Customer and Order Management Logistics Sales Support Primarily you will manage customers and their orders, work with both internal and external departments for the import and export of goods. Provide exceptional customer sales support and ensure timely delivery of all orders placed. You will do this through effective communication, attention to detail and with the ability to handle a multitude of tasks which are all essential to the role. Responsibilities: Serve as primary point of contact for customers. Receive, process and confirm customer orders for distribution in the UK and rest of the world. Arrange collection and onward transit to customers by coordinating with hauliers. Process and prepare UK, Export and Import documentation for shipments. Effective order management, providing updates to customers and the wider business. Provide product information and weekly order updates to customers. Handle customer complaints when required. Manage the administration related to maintaining accurate customer records and order documentation. Collaborate with the wider business team and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience. Perform periodic checks against customers/hauliers in accordance with our Due Diligence policy. Provide support where required and assistance with audits. Ensure suppliers that you deal with act in both a sustainable and responsible manner and highlight any concerns/issues. Support with admin and ad hoc tasks Undertake any other appropriate duties as requested. Experience required: 5 GCSEs of grade C/4 or above, with English and Maths, or equivalent experience / qualifications Experience of a similar role. Export/import and customs entry experience (desirable) Strong IT Skills Excellent administrative skills with high attention to detail Knowledge of HMRC regulations (desirable) Have excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to manage priorities. Irradiation and Autoclave sterilisation process understanding Knowledge of the high tech cleanroom market requiring use of zero particulate and anti-static products. Pharmaceutical and biotech quality management standards. Including critical control points and measures associated with contamination control.
