Our client is a well know and established business in Redditch who are looking for a Customer Service Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract ( with possibility for a permanent role for the right candidate) to join their small customer service team. They may be a small team but they look after their huge existing customer base with all operational aspects of the customer relationship offering the best service. This team is responsible for processing all the sales orders and liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth information flow and high standards. The Customer Service Administrators day to day duties include:- Monitoring and customer claims or queries and ensuring that you follow the issue right through to resolution. Following the order processing in the inhouse system: stock allocation, outbound delivery , invoicing and liaise with other departments to ensure that there is perfect management of the order process right from order received to delivery onsite to the customer. Processing customer returns and recording lost sales Follow up sales data and implement all necessary actions to reach division target. Maintain a good working knowledge of sales administration SAP operations and support implementation of process improvements in the system. Ensure you engage and inspire the team to provide superior Customer Service The successful Customer Service Administrator will have the following skills and experience:- Previous customer service / sales order processing experience Strong IT skills experience processing orders on inhouse systems Logistics experience would be a distinct advantage Good attention to detail Excellent customer service skills being able to manage queries , chase deliveries and provide customer updates. In return you can expect to receive a basic salary of circa £25,000. It's a 40 hour a week contract with an 8.30am start. The successful candidate will have extensive sales administration/ sales order processing experience. If you have experience within Automotive/ Distribution/ Logistics with a good understanding of stock management that will be a distinct advantage. Customer liaison - dealing with commercial issues, customer enquiries/complaints via phone and emails. Participating in the organisation of sales and customer service meetings. Preparing and providing KPI data to the commercial team as and when required. To carry out any other reasonable tasks required The ideal candidate for this role will : Be competent with Microsoft Office packages and experienced in the use of production computer systems. Be an effective communicator with good demonstrable experience of Microsoft Office suite. Working knowledge of sales order processing, inventory control and manufacturing systems. Be numerate and literate with good communication skills. Be conscientious and possess excellent attention to details Adopt a structured and organised approach with proactive work ethic. Be able to work to deadlines in a diligent, methodical, and accurate manner. Be self-motivated and capable of achieving set objectives Be fluent in English Language, both written and verbal - additional language such as French and German would be advantageous.
