Job Title: Export/Import Coordinator Location: Birmingham, UK 40 hours per week, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Salary: £37,000 - £40000 Job Summary The Export/Import Coordinator/Customer Service Coordinator will support our sales team by managing the complete order process and logistics for both domestic and international customers. This role ensures smooth order fulfilment, from receipt to delivery, while coordinating with internal teams and logistics providers. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Manage end-to-end order process, including receipt, processing, and delivery on Oracle Process and manage domestic and international orders, handling all documentation and customer requests. Ensure excellent customer relations, coordinating order details from receipt to product delivery. Work with logistics, sales teams, and carriers to coordinate transportation and track shipments. Handle order confirmations, invoicing, credit notes, and all necessary documentation, answering internal and external inquiries. Source competitive quotes from haulers to epitomise transportation costs. Adhere to safety protocols at all locations and complete annual safety training. Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude. Qualifications & Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication Proficient in Excel and logistics systems Flexible team player with strong organisational and interpersonal skills Problem-solving skills for logistics and customs-related issues Attention to detail and strong customer service orientation Experience & Education Previous experience in a customer-facing administrative role, ideally in logistics or a manufacturing setting Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics, including Incoterms and customs processes Experience working with freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers General education in English and Mathematics; familiarity with databases and ordering systems preferred International experience is a plus Working Conditions Location: On-site at the Birmingham, UK facility. Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for occasional overtime as needed. Safety: Must follow all safety protocols and wear safety equipment when required. Working Relationships Collaborate with Sales Managers, Logistics Managers, and CSR colleagues. Engage with customers, haulers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
