Customer Support reports to the Customer Support Manager. Customer support is responsible for managing relationships, both existing and new customers on a global scale. As the first point of contact for external customers and to deliver world class customer service, the role will liaise with sales team and support their activities to achieve agreed business growth, plus communicate with production to ensure orders are right first time. Hours of work are 37.5 hours - 8.30 - 5.00 Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 4.00 on a Friday 1 hour for lunch Monday - Wed inc. 30 mins for lunch on Thursday and Friday (to accommodate the early finish on the Friday) Requirments : Must have SAP experience PRIMARY DUTIES Process orders efficiently to achieve order targets and meet customer expectations. Clear all orders daily, escalate issues if required. Communicate updates to internal and external customers. Manage the accounts of allocated customers acting as a single point of contact. Liaise with other departments to ensure all deliveries are correct. Maintain and update the Salesforce database. Process customer orders through our ERP system, Process documentation for despatch of goods , including all invoicing. Organising all export paperwork & documentation as required. Drive sales with existing customers to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly targets. Assist the sales team to meet target of new customer base through warm and cold calling. Check team orders to help a right first-time culture. Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested. Ensures compliance with all Company Policy and Procedures, including, product safety and H&S Legislation.
