About the Role: This is a newly created role and will involve the end-to-end oversight of the broker panel including adding, removing and monitoring brokers, and reviewing broker quality via declined and cancelled rates. Responsibilities: To action and maintain all information from lenders on Brokers, reporting correctly onto the SIRA system. To action and consider all broker appeals together with any broker panel queries from across the business. Develop and maintain cooperative relationships between all internal stakeholders and investigate all referrals professionally. Work fraud systems such as CIFAS, SIRA & Hunter to mitigate potential losses. To investigate all intelligence and action accordingly. Carrying out Broker reviews, liaising with sales to either arrange they visit the broker or before the removal of a Broker and preparing a management report for the Credit Committee. Reporting the removal decision in a professional manner to Broker Support, the Broker, FCA, and other Lenders. Prepare Management Reports, ensuring they are prepared in time for Exco or Credit Committee meetings. Analyse broker data to protect the business. Experience required: Proven experience in packaging/underwriting mortgage cases. Proven ability to exercise good commercial and professional judgment. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Good attention to detail Adaptive to ongoing change PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products Enthusiastic, flexible, and keen to learn and develop a career. Knowledge of Hunter, CIFAS & SIRA systems would be beneficial but not essential. Due to a number of large new business wins, an expanding and well respected commercial insurance brokerage based in central Birmingham have the requirement for two Real Estate Account Handlers to join their expanding team. Supporting Accounr Executives who have recently won some sizable real estate clients, you will assist with their day to day responsiblities, performing MTA's forthe clients, producing policy documentations, leasing with insurers to ensure the clients have the best rates on the market, assisting with the Account Executives presentations and general administrative tasks. Bases in central Birmingham, but with the option to work on a hybrid basis, you will ideally have experience dealing with commercial property risks, if you have dealt with large property real estate portfolios then you will be highly considered, however my client is willing to think outside the box to a degree should you know the basics of commecial property and be looking to specilise in that area.

The role will see you assist in the success and growth of the branch, whilst working closely with the branch director and account executives, you will be responsible for broking and placement of new and existing commercial insurance risks. Key responsibilities: Broking mid/large commercial and corporate insurance risks. Working with AE's you will design and tailor insurance solutions in line with client's requirements. Liaise with decision makers, stakeholders, insurers etc to provide a cost-effective broking service. Adhered to company and FCA regulations and guidelines. Identify appropriate markets for placement of corporate insurance risks. Provide technical and expert advice to key clients. Cultivate strong insurer relationships. Prepare market presentations and negotiate with insurers. Deliver tailored insurance solutions in conjunction with branch directors, account executives and risk managers. Keep Acturis records up to date. Experience: A technical background with experience gained within commercial/corporate insurance broking. A comprehensive understanding of most classes of commercial insurance risk including property, motor, fleet, EL, PL, commercial combined, etc. Confident handling new and existing business, providing quotations, handling renewals, MTA's, market submissions, presentations, negotiations, etc. Good relationships with local and regional insurers. Acturis experience would be preferred. Progression towards achieving CII qualifications. Strong presentations and negotiation skills. Ability to work as part of a wider team and contribute to the team. Track record of building strong insurer and client relationships. Acturis experience essential as well as being computer literate.
