There are three fun filled Holiday Parks in Lancashire, Broadwater in Fleetwood, Newton Hall in Staining and Windy Harbour at Singleton, along with Black Beck Holiday Park in Cumbria and Tarn House in Skipton, North Yorkshire. The Role The successful Foreman / Forewoman will be overseeing the grounds team, keeping the park to a high standard at all times, and ensuring the guests experience is the best it can be. General Responsibilities include: Coordinate the grounds team in a professional and fair manner. Communicate work priorities and associated deadlines. Ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner to the required standard. Assign tasks to members of the team. Maintain work standards and outline behavioural expectations to ensure team morale and productivity. Ensure all members of the team comply by Company policies and procedures. Undertake and/or supervise the departmental induction and on job training of all new members of the team. Oversee; the movement of caravans, siting, levelling and plumbing into main services, testing and final inspection of same before the caravan is handed over to the purchaser. Oversee the maintenance of drains ensuring that drains are kept free, supervising the clearing of drain's when blocked. Oversee the installation of main drainage systems when required. Oversee the maintenance of the water supply. Any other duties that the Senior Management may ask you to carry out in order to run the Park more efficiently. Skills and Experience A minimum of 3 years' experience as a grounds Supervisor/Foreman (essential). Full clean, driving licence (essential). NVQ in caravan siting (desirable). The ability to demonstrate company values at all times! Additional training will be provided. Joiner Wakefield Salary: £29,582 Full time, permanent On site Our client is looking for a Joiner/ Joinery Technician to join the Empty Homes team in this new role. As a Joiner you will provide all types of joinery repairs, to tenanted and vacant properties, with a customer service quality driven repair and maintenance service. You will be covering the Lancashire area. Outline of Key responsibilities of the Joiner/ Joinery Technician... To carry out all types of Joinery repairs to both tenanted and vacant properties in accordance with job tickets, opti-time appointment slots, specifications and contract drawings, to good practice, Building Regulations etc as appropriate and applicable. To carry out work with an ethos of "Right First Time" always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, with good quality workmanship and good standard of performance. To organise your work to minimise lost or non-productive time, highlighting pro-actively if you have too much / too little work so that work can be re-allocated, extra work allocated etc as appropriate. To assist in addressing the peaks and troughs in workload by working overtime and at other times when requested by prior arrangement with your manager. To participate in a stand-by or call-out rota. To use your initiative to diagnose and undertake a repair which may be different from the job required or where the job required was of a locate fault type nature.
