Your role We are looking for compassionate, experienced, and enthusiastic Support Worker to join an established team to help support a fabulous, chatty, and engaging 19-year-old within our family home setting in Norwich. Our client has complex medical difficulties which require clinical and personal care. Full training and shadowing opportunities will be provided to ensure Support Worker feels confident and comfortable with the daily routine. Support Workers will also need to be able to support a range of stimulating activities throughout the day to positively enrich our client's life. Access to a car for transport would be an advantage due to the client location, the nearest train station is Norwich. The successful candidate will have: Experience working in a Care situation preferably with children or young adults (for example previous teaching assistants, foster carers as well as those trained in Care) Energy, empathy, great sense of humour and a positive outlook and the ability to build positive relationships. Responsibilities and Duties include: Assist in the loading of HGV Vehicles assisting in loading and unloading Communicating on radio to other members of staff Supporting external drivers in loading/unloading and paperwork. General housekeeping duties. Days shifts. You will be given full training however previous experience in Production or Logistics is required. Please note, this role will require you to be outside for the majority of the role and will involve a lot of standing. Working hours are Monday to Friday 6.30am-4pm.
