The business is seeking to appoint a bookkeeper with responsibilities for the accounting and controlling of financial data for client subsidiary entities based in Europe with sixteen subsidiaries. The successful candidate will work autonomously and as part of the larger group finance function to ensure timely and accurate data processing, management information, payments and receipts and ad-hoc reporting. Responsibilities are to ensure the safety and integrity of data processing for subsidiary accounts and ensure that local compliance reports, filings and payments are made. Assist FD in maintaining records and preparing and presenting reports to executives, stakeholders and board members. Experience and skills Fluent polish speaker Experience in a similar role. Self-starter, driven and polite professional with strong communication skills. Job description Overview: We are seeking a detail orientated Bookkeeper to join our team, experienced in using Quickbooks accounting software. This is a part time position based in our office. Duties: Purchase ledger Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests from suppliers and customers. Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy. Monitor payment due dates and follow up on outstanding invoices. Maintain a systematic filing system for invoices, receipts, and financial documents. Monthly Payroll Work with management to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Calculate and verify payroll components, including taxes, deductions, and benefits. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between company records and bank statements. VAT Check and submit accurate return figures to HMRC via Quickbooks CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) Maintain and monitor advance payments made by Contractors to HMRC.
