As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to our clients, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. Rate: £42.75/hr Requirements (Positive Behaviour Specialist): Child/Adult DBS on Update Service. UK Passport/Right to Work (skilled worker VISA's need not apply) Bachelors/Masters Degree in Psychology, Education or related feild 1 year experience in relevant role. Responsibilities (Social Care): Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' behavioral needs and challenges. Develop and implement individualized positive behavior support plans. Provide ongoing training and support to staff on behavior management techniques. Collaborate with residents, families, and care teams to establish goals and strategies. Monitor and analyze behavioral data to track progress and adjust support plans accordingly. Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques in response to challenging behaviors. Provide education and support on coping skills and healthy coping mechanisms. Advocate for residents' needs and preferences within the supported living environment. Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes in accordance with regulations and policies.
