Our client, a prestigious top - tier barristers' chambers based near Fleet Street is looking for an experienced Fees Clerk.
This position will work closely with the Finance team to ensure the prompt collection of barristers' debt and will provide financial and administrative support to the Head of Finance.
As a Fees Clerk your core duties will include
Ensuring invoices, fee notes, reminders, receipts, VAT invoices and any other finance correspondence are issued and sent to Chambers' instructing solicitors in a timely manner.
This role is to act as a personal assistant to a visually impaired barrister.
The role will involve converting court documents so that they are accessible to the barrister using specialist OCR software, proof-reading documents and also orientation/practical help at court.
The job is varied and involves travel predominantly throughout Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North East so applicants will need to be enthusiastic and flexible.
