What ASEND Tuition Is
ASEND tuition supports SEND pupils and helps them continue their learning while they cannot access school or don't have a school place.
ASAP Start - Outreach Tutor - 6 Hour days (£140-£175)
This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher/tutor who are looking to step away from the classroom to offer a more personalised and enjoyable lessons on a 1:1 basis.
For this role you must be able to create, plan and deliver tailored lesson plans to bridge gaps in pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in your area.
We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.
You will be supporting students with special educational and complex needs.
This will be continuous and until the student is placed within a suitable school, when we will then set you up ready for your next student.
This may include those with autism, ADHD, SPD (sensory processing disorder), Speech and Language difficulties, as well those struggling with mental and emotional challenges such as trauma induced behaviour, social anxiety and low self-esteem.
Provide high-quality one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in up to 15 hours a week per student.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning styles, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).
