Accounts Assistant - Bristol £ 25 - £28K DOE - Possible hybrid after training A very exciting opportunity has come up to join a growing business as an Accounts Assistant just outside of Bristol. Role Summary As a member of the Accounts team, you will support the day-to-day functions of the Accounts department from bank reconciliations and processing payments, to raising Finance Company commission invoices. This role requires a high level of attention to detail. You must be well organised, enthusiastic, and confident working individually, as well as part of a team. Job Requirements Duties and Responsibilities Daily bank account update - checking all payments and receipts are on the accounts system and matched against the appropriate invoices. Monthly reconciliation of current bank account Adding supplier invoices to the in-house CRM vehicle software making sure that the invoices match against the order. Credit Control - Chase for any overdue invoices and clear down accounts. Processing payments for non-vehicle suppliers Invoice email inbox processing. Non-standard invoice raising for specialist funders. Checking vehicle deposits received and updating the relevant salesperson. Raising Finance Company commission invoices Skills Knowledge of Sage preferred Meticulous with great attention to detail Previous experience in accounts including reconciliation of bank accounts This is not an opportunity to be missed!
