The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Gardener to provide all year gardening to private gardens, working alongside a small established team. The garden is home to some species that are globally rare, together with the first tea grown in the UK for commercial production. Duties include: Lawncare and mowing. Strimming, hedge trimming, pruning and chainsaw work. Cultivation and weeding. Pest and weed control, including spraying. Path and drive maintenance and construction. Watering and landscape construction. You will need: Previous gardening experience within a team-based role. Experience of using pedestrian lawnmowers e.g. cylinder and rotary, strimming and brush cutting. To be conscientious and have attention to detail; and hardworking. Ability to work alone and as part of a team. Good communication skills; professional attitude, polite and good levels of personal presentation. Full UK driving licence and own transport as we are in a rural location, with no access to public transport. Referring to the pallet specification, build sound pallets of finished product enabling safe transport to the Warehouse for pallet wrapping. Complete all relevant paperwork and record details of all finished product generated by the shift. Open and repackage rejected packed product. Ensure the good housekeeping of the packing floor area. Experience in pallet building and being PC literate is desirable. Key Ingredients: Ability to learn new skills Applicants need to be numerate, literate, flexible, self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision and use own initiative. Communication skills. Ability to work as part of a small team. Excellent time keeping and attendance record. Our Public Sector client based in Stirling is seeking a part time caretaker to join their team. This role will be for 12 months duration. You will provide maintenance and caretaking duties throughout the offices, based at Stirling. You will be expected to be the front line response to Help Desk calls, to support building maintenance operations. With the flexibility to travel to other offices when required (pool vehicle will be supplied for travel to other sites) To work flexibly withing the core hours of the operation which are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 7.30pm - Please note that this is a part-time role based on 20 hours per week. Experience in facilities/property maintenance environment. Use of small tools, ladders and snow clearing equipment. Full UK Driving Licence.
