CMA are currently working with a dynamic business who operate within the gaming industry and are looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Assistant on an ongoing temporary basis for a minimum of 6 months. What will the Purchase Ledger role involve? Matching overhead invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes Entering credit notes from suppliers once confirmation of stock returns Posting invoices against purchase order goods receipts (stock invoices) Assist with monthly process of credit card transactions Assist with weekly process of cash expenses Liaising with warehouse/purchasing departments to resolve any goods receipts queries Reconcile statements received from suppliers and chase up any missing invoices or discrepancies, by phone and email. Processing supplier payment runs and ad hoc Entering freight and utility costs onto various spreadsheets Printing and scanning of invoices onto system until knowledge of nominal codes and procedures have been met, then paperless procedure will follow. Dealing with suppliers when chasing payment. Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger vacancy: Good written and verbal professional communication & customer service skills Purchase Ledger experience Focused with a strong attention to detail Self-motivated individual Proven ability to multitask, with an eye for prioritisation Logical and thorough approach to problem solving Strong Excel skills.
