FMCG company based in High Wycombe is seeking a SAP Finance System Analyst ASAP for a 12 month FTC. This position will be responsible for the project delivery, production support, maintenance and configuration of our client's SAP FICO solutions and related third party bolt-on systems globally. The SAP Analyst will use their experience, knowledge and leadership skills to recommend solutions and guide team members including 3rd party contractors. The perfect candidate will have extensive SAP experience related to SAP FI and CO modules configuration. The successful candidate must be able to analyze and document business flow from end to end as well as document designs and communicate code requirements to the ABAP development team. Hybrid role (2 days onsite Tues/Wed) £50k - £60k Duties Functional expert in SAP Financials modules Provides day to day support and maintains existing system functionality in parallel to working on various enhancements and cross functional projects Manages SAP FICO configuration and testing Collaborates with business users in requirement gathering, design, and deployment of new or improved business processes Ensure financial applications are developed that comply with established standards, methodologies and best practices Work with key business users to configure and modify SAP to meet business requirements using Best Practices Translate overall business process design established during blueprinting to SAP FICO configuration Collaborates with other SAP team members and managed service team to review requirements and develop possible solutions Actively contributes to the development of business process flows, functional & technical specifications, & test cases and ensure full alignment with business user requirements Serves as a change agent by partnering with business users and providing training and testing guidance as needed Collaborate with representatives of other IT/ functional areas to ensure end to end process integration and consistency Help ensure a global solution using SAP standard design is implemented Skills/Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field; Working in information technology with focus on required SAP modules FI and CO Deep experience implementing SAP Financial modules and integration experience with other modules such as SD and MM Strong skills in configuring Profitability Analysis Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to articulate and present different points-of-view on various technologies Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support Works well with teams or in a team environment, with the ability to work independently. This is a key role where you manage a variety of tools and processes which analyse business information from different sources and transform it into actionable insights that inform strategic and tactical decisions. This is a mainly remote role where you will be working from home 4 days per week and one day per week in the office which is based on the outskirts of High Wycombe. You will be working 35 hours per week and the salary for this fantastic Business Intelligence Analyst role is between £41,000 and £43,000 plus an discretionary annual bonus of up to 10%. Main responsibilities for this Business Intelligence Analyst role: Support the design and build of business intelligence/analytical platforms that allow for the aggregation of data to deliver insights. Deliver business intelligence that brings knowledge and actionable insights into the decision making process for all stakeholder groups to help the achievement of business goals. Create and maintain reports and dashboards for various stakeholders that visualise data insights in a clear and understandable manner. Build dashboards, present data and provide context to aid decision making and development of our plans and activities. To produce data which presents important company (and product) performance against the rest of the market and key competitors. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic initiatives. Work closely with business teams to understand their requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Monitor and analyse the performance of key business metrics against business goals and objectives. Collaborate with data governance and IT teams to maintain high-quality data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices. Support the training of staff on data literacy and the use of BI tools.
