Business Development Executive Nottingham, Hybrid £26,000 - £31,000 annual bonus 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of business development and national growth initiatives across our East Midlands offices. From identifying and researching target markets to maintaining business development pipelines, you will have the opportunity to shape the growth of our firm and make a tangible impact. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of business development and national growth initiatives across our East Midlands Offices. Identify and research target markets and potential new business opportunities. Maintain business development pipelines and produce reports to support business development plans. Plan, run, and deliver events, including managing delegate lists and ensuring follow-up opportunities are maximised. Attend business/networking functions and provide feedback on market trends. Develop relationships with key intermediaries within the local marketplace. Research target clients within existing and emerging sectors, liaising with key stakeholders. Support in developing opportunities and initiatives to increase new business across the office, region, and firm. Assist in drafting compelling pitches and credential documents. Work closely with stakeholders to present new products and services, enhancing existing relationships and growing revenue. Monitor and measure return on investment for marketing and business development activities. Build overall brand and reputation within the external marketplace. Collaborate with the senior business development team to implement and drive growth strategy across the firm. Your Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of business-to-business marketing, business development, and relationship management, preferably within professional services. Dynamic and highly motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously. Evidence of key stakeholder management skills, ideally gained within a professional services environment. Demonstrable understanding of business development, client development, and CRM. Effective relationship builder with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels. Initiative-driven with a natural desire to go the extra mile. Ability to think strategically and commercially. Strong operational and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and accuracy. They are currently scaling up the business and need a strong Developer to lead their inhouse team of 5. This is a predominantly hands on role where you will be contributing to the products on a daily basis. They work with some of the biggest names in the hospitality industry including some of the largest food delivery service providers and are revolutionising the way we think about food preparation. The Role: The ideal candidate is someone who has delivered high growth SaaS-based applications, is passionate about quality. Line managing and mentoring Junior Developers will be part of your role, ability to motivate the team is key. Working closely with their CTO you will take accountability for the engineering decisions and methodologies across the SaaS platforms, and engage with the Product team on a daily basis to understand the wider roadmap and how best to align technical change with feature enhancements. Their current tech stack is PHP, Laravel, Vue.js and JavaScript, they have a 5 year plan which includes a full digital transformation into a new tech stack. If you've got experience working with Node.js it would be a massive bonus for the future of the business.
